About the artist.
Jaeyong Kang is a South Korean composer, pianist, and AI music researcher. His talent was discovered early — he began the piano at six, trained in the Czerny method, and twice won the Grand Prize at piano competitions in Busan.
Blessed with perfect pitch and an extraordinary memory, he learns and plays any tune by ear, carrying a repertoire of more than a thousand songs entirely from memory. Whether interpreting his repertoire across styles and moods or shaping instant improvisations and arrangements, he has a rare ability to read a room and hold it.
As a recording artist, he has composed original works for solo piano and officially released six digital singles, distributed worldwide on Spotify, iTunes, and Amazon Music. Since 2017, his performing career has taken him to corporate and private engagements and venues across South Korea, Singapore, and Prague — from luxury residences and department-store stages to candlelit lounges.
His solo piano arrangements of contemporary pop songs have drawn more than one million combined views on YouTube (as of March 2026). Alongside performing, he mentors emerging pianists, passing on his knowledge and love of the instrument.
